CHRISTMAS 2020

What. A. Year.

Christmas is a godsend to me every year but this year, a year where everything felt so heavy and my home has been my sanctuary more than ever I just really tried to soak in every bit of it as possible. I don’t know that I had a theme this year like I have in years past, but I did keep up my theme of buying no new and only second hand/vintage items. Well, with the exception of some ribbon.. (but that doesn’t count right?)

We leaned into traditional vibes this year so a green tree felt right for our main one. I found so many great vintage bulbs off ebay and I don’t know that I’ll ever had a “themed” main tree again, because they are just that beautiful. Still using gold bead garland and our ornaments from previous years mixed in as well.

Our DIY DRIED GRAPEFRUITS from last year still looked great! They stored well and are so beautiful, I used them for stocking details and for our stair garland as well.

We did Vivienne’s tree again but opted for pom pom ornaments only this year (for reasons that are probably very obvious). They are so cute/fun and perfect for toddlers because they cannot hurt them and can even help decorate without stressing mama out.

Bob surprised me with two trees from our woods to decorate for the patio this year, and of course we had to go all out with the new shed.

Until next time Christmas..
